Disappointing Experience –Terrible Customer Service – Staff More Interested in Their Phones
I had high hopes when I booked my appointment, but unfortunately, my visit to this salon was quite disappointing. When I entered, the reception area was empty, and no one was there to welcome or guide customers. Only one customer was seated, while most of the staff were sitting inside, busy on their phones and chatting among themselves.
I mentioned I had an appointment, but there wasn’t much interest or urgency from the staff. When I said I needed a haircut, two of them eventually responded and asked what I wanted. I said I am here for a haircut.
I also asked for a brochure to help choose a style, but was told there wasn’t one available. There was no proper customer care no one asked me to sit, and I was left standing for minutes while most of the staff continued scrolling on their phones. A few minutes later, one staff member asked me to sit for a hair wash, and from there, things improved slightly. I too had planned to do a protein treatment and facial as well, but the rest acted like they couldn’t be bothered turned me not to do anything here.
Only two staff members made an effort to assist me. The haircut itself was ok, and I appreciate the effort of the person who did it. However, I was uncomfortable to see the hair washing basin meant for customers being used to clean staff mugs. That felt unhygienic and unprofessional.
Overall, this was not the experience I expected. With better attention to customer care and hygiene, this salon could improve a lot. For now, though, I don’t see myself returning. I am very disappointed.
