2. What Injectablesbooking.ae does

  1. Injectablesbooking.ae is an independent comparison and referral platform.

  2. We are not a clinic, doctor, practitioner, healthcare facility or healthcare provider.

  3. We do not perform treatments ourselves and we do not provide medical advice.

  4. Through our platform, visitors can view, compare and click through to clinics, practitioners and treatments.

  5. Injectablesbooking.ae helps consumers with as complete an overview as reasonably possible of clinics with appropriately licensed and authorised healthcare professionals in the UAE and, where applicable, healthcare professionals or facilities licensed by the relevant competent authority, such as DHA, DoH or MOHAP.

  6. We do our best to present this information carefully and accurately, but we cannot guarantee that all information is always complete, up to date and error free.

The UAE has official frameworks for e-commerce and consumer protection, and healthcare licensing in the UAE can involve different authorities depending on the emirate and the type of licence. DHA offers official licence-status verification in Dubai, DoH regulates healthcare in Abu Dhabi, and MOHAP operates healthcare professional and facility licensing services and directories at the federal level.

3. Who you make an appointment with

  2. Any appointment, consultation or treatment is made directly between you and the clinic or practitioner you choose.

  3. The clinic or practitioner is responsible for:

    • the appointment

    • confirmation of the appointment

    • changes or cancellations

    • the treatment

    • aftercare

    • invoicing

    • complaints about the treatment

  4. Halftien BV is not a party to the treatment agreement between you and the clinic or practitioner.

4. How the platform works

  1. We show information about clinics, practitioners and treatments.

  2. From a profile page, you may click through to:

    • a clinic’s or practitioner’s website

    • a clinic’s or practitioner’s contact page

    • a clinic’s or practitioner’s online booking system

  3. The further appointment process takes place directly with the clinic or practitioner.

  4. Halftien BV does not process appointments, payments, deposits, cancellations or no show fees.

  5. Appointment confirmations are sent according to the working method of the relevant clinic or practitioner.

  6. We are not responsible for the content, operation, availability or outcome of a clinic’s or practitioner’s website, contact page or online booking system.

5. Information on the platform

  1. We do our best to compile and present the information on Injectablesbooking.ae with reasonable care.

  2. Information on the platform may come from:

    • clinics or practitioners

    • public sources

    • Google reviews

    • other third parties

  3. We cannot guarantee that all information is always complete, up to date and error free.

  4. Displayed prices, availability, waiting times, reviews and other information are generally indicative, unless clearly stated otherwise.

6. Profiles of clinics and practitioners

  1. Clinics and practitioners may manage or amend their own profile.

  2. Halftien BV may also supplement or amend profile information based on public sources, supplied information or editorial review.

  3. Halftien BV may manage the content, layout, order and visibility of profiles on the platform.

  4. The clinic or practitioner remains responsible for the accuracy of the information on its own profile.

  5. Each clinic or practitioner remains responsible for complying with the local laws, licence requirements, professional rules and healthcare regulations applicable to it in the UAE.

The UAE professional licensing framework is built around official qualification and licensing requirements, including the Professional Qualification Requirements framework and licensing processes run by the competent authorities.

7. Order and visibility

  1. We determine how clinics and practitioners are displayed on the platform.

  2. Factors that may play a role include:

    • relevance

    • distance

    • completeness of the profile

    • reviews

    • availability

    • commercial arrangements

  3. Paid or prominent visibility may be marked as such on the platform.

UAE consumer-protection and e-commerce rules regulate online sale and purchase of goods and services through websites and platforms, which is why transparency around the platform role and presentation remains important.

8. Reviews

  1. The platform may show third party reviews and ratings, including Google reviews.

  2. We consider reviews valuable, but we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, completeness or currency.

  1. We are only liable for direct loss that is the direct result of an attributable failure by Halftien BV in providing the platform, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

    • the content or operation of external websites, contact pages or online booking systems

    • the making, changing, moving or cancelling of appointments

    • no shows, waiting times or changed availability

    • medical treatments, treatment outcomes or complications

    • acts or omissions of a clinic, practitioner or other third party

    • disruptions, software errors, internet issues or problems in third party integrations

  3. To the extent permitted by law, we are also not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

  4. If we are nevertheless liable, our liability is limited to the amount paid out by our liability insurer in that case, plus the applicable excess.

  5. If no payment is made under the insurance, our liability is limited to a maximum of EUR 250 per event, unless mandatory law prevents this.

  6. These limitations do not apply in cases of fraud, wilful misconduct, deliberate recklessness or liability that cannot be excluded by law.

The UAE has an active consumer-protection framework and a modern electronic-transactions regime, so limitation language should always remain subject to mandatory law.

14. Disruptions and force majeure

  1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates to the extent mandatory consumer or other mandatory local law applies. For all other matters, Dutch law applies unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

  2. Disputes with consumers shall be brought before the court or authority that is competent under mandatory law.

  3. In all other cases, the competent court in the district of Halftien BV applies unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
