Alhamdulillah… after suffering for nearly 3 months with constant sneezing, itching, discomfort, breathing irritation, and many sleepless nights, I finally found relief through Dr. Shreya, ENT Specialist.
Those months were extremely stressful and exhausting for me. I was physically tired, mentally drained, and struggling to sleep peacefully. From the moment I met Dr. Shreya, she listened with so much patience and care. She understood exactly what I was going through and guided me confidently.
She advised an endoscopy, which I did last Saturday — and honestly, that became the last day I sneezed continuously. It genuinely felt like a miracle for me. Since then, I’ve been sleeping peacefully and feeling so much better after a very long time.
I cannot express how grateful I am for her kindness, professionalism, accurate diagnosis, and treatment. Doctors like her truly make a difference in people’s lives. May God bless her always for giving patients comfort and relief when they need it most.

My special thanks to Dr. Sivaiah Bommala, who is truly an outstanding and highly skilled doctor. I visited him with severe leg pain, and he immediately identified that my problem was related to an ACL ligament injury. What impressed me the most was his ability to understand the issue simply through my symptoms and clinical examination, even before MRI or X-ray. His accurate diagnosis and timely referral were truly remarkable and helped me receive the right treatment without delay.
After my ACL ligament surgery, I also received great support during my recovery process.
I would like to sincerely appreciate Dr. Alluramma Annapureddy, the Pediatric Doctor, for her excellent care and treatment for my child. She is very kind, patient, and supportive, and her approach makes children and parents feel comfortable and confident.
Additionally, I would like to thank the Physiotherapist Dr. Mariyam for her strong support, motivation, and encouragement after my ACL surgery. Her guidance and positive care helped me a lot in my rehabilitation.
Thumbay Hospital, Umm Al Quwain, has a very professional and caring medical team.
One small suggestion is that the physiotherapy department could be further improved with more advanced rehabilitation machines and equipment to support post-surgery recovery even better.
Overall, I highly recommend this hospital for both orthopedic and pediatric care. Show less »

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a clinic. It appears they are only concerned about money. There was absolutely no empathy shown by the staff or the doctor, not even for an infant. I brought my baby daughter to this clinic when she was clearly unwell, despite extremely poor weather conditions. I had called the reception beforehand and informed them that I would arrive around 9:30 PM. My contact details were taken and the visit was acknowledged.

Because of the severe weather, I arrived just five minutes late at 9:35 PM, only to be told—very casually—by the receptionist that the doctor had already left. She further stated that she had informed the doctor about our arrival .

At the very least, the clinic management should have informed us, especially considering we were traveling with a sick baby in such weather. This level of negligence and lack of professionalism is unacceptable.

If possible, I would rate this clinic zero. Show less »

Again I waited for some time he was taking paper for another patient and then he gave our insurance form.. I had been there for many times but non of the staff have behaved like this. He doesnt even smile keeping his face so worried or rude. Atleast he could have communicated to us if he wanted to attend or give paper to another patient. Hopefully this will never happen again for me and other patients.

Negative Experience at the Physiotherapy Clinic – Thumbay Hospital Umm Al Quwain

I am writing this review to document my extremely disappointing experience with the physiotherapy clinic, specifically with Dr. Maryam.

Unfortunately, there was no respect for patient appointments. We were not informed that our appointment had been changed, despite traveling from another emirate. When we raised the issue, the doctor casually mentioned that she had written it on an external note and simply forgot to inform us. This level of negligence is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.

In addition, her attitude towards patients and their families was arrogant and impolite. As the guardian of the patient, I can confidently say that I do not recommend her at all, as in my opinion she is not suitable to be practicing as a doctor in the first place.

What makes the situation worse is that the hospital management, or the person who introduced himself as her supervisor, took no action after the complaint was raised. This raises serious concerns about the hospital’s commitment to patient care and accountability.

I sincerely hope that the hospital administration reconsiders such practices and takes the necessary steps to ensure that patients receive the respect and professionalism they deserve.

After I insisted on knowing what action the hospital would take, she was eventually called in and arrived around 20 minutes later to conduct the session. This was despite the fact that she had just told me over the phone that she had an “emergency case” and had postponed all her appointments for the day. If I had not insisted, she would not have attended to the patient at all.

This inconsistency and lack of transparency only confirmed my concerns about her professionalism and the hospital’s handling of patient care. Show less »
