I am extremely disappointed with my experience at your clinic.
I initially booked a HydraFacial, however, I was repeatedly pressured into an upsell. When I asked about the actual benefits, the explanation provided was vague and limited to “additional steps,” without any clear clinical value. Having previously undergone HydraFacial treatments at your clinic, I am fully aware of what the service should entail and what results to expect.
Unfortunately, the service I received was significantly underwhelming and does not justify the price charged. The aggressive upselling was particularly concerning given that the treatment delivered was of poor quality and far below professional standards.
The therapist assigned to me appeared insufficiently trained and unfamiliar with the proper operation of the HydraFacial machine. Most concerning, she manually extracted pimples using her fingernails, which is both unhygienic and unacceptable in a clinical setting. In addition, the therapist engaged in excessive personal conversation throughout the session, detracting from the professionalism and overall experience.
The treatment itself consisted only of basic steps: serum application, moisturizer, HydraFacial, LED mask, and sunblock, which in no way justify the premium price I was charged.
After the session, I raised my concerns with the receptionist and inquired whether the therapist was newly trained, as the treatment felt incomplete. Instead of addressing my concerns objectively, I was met with dismissive responses and was told that my skin appeared “radiant,” which is an expected temporary effect from applied serums and does not reflect treatment quality.
UPDATE: I must strongly disagree with how my experience has been framed.
I regularly undergo HydraFacial treatments with other clinics and had a HydraFacial, Fotona 4D, and Salmon Sperm treatment just two months prior to my appointment with you. I booked solely because of your promotional pricing not due to lack of awareness about skincare maintenance. Please do not imply otherwise.
The issue was not the duration of the facial, but the aggressive upselling, lack of clear clinical justification, and the poor quality of service delivered. I am fully capable of distinguishing between proper extraction tools and fingernails, and I stand by my account of what occurred during my treatment.
I declined your offer to return for a “complimentary” facial because I have lost trust in the quality and professionalism of your services. This is not about money; keep it. What concerns me is the disconnect between your pricing, promotions, and actual standard of care.
I went to your clinic despite prior negative feedback, and unfortunately, my experience confirmed those concerns. I will not remain silent about it.
