Overpriced Services and My Personal Experience at Renew and Revive Clinic, Dubai – Dr. mehdi shidvash
This review reflects my personal experience as a patient at Renew and Revive Clinic, Dubai, under Dr. Mehdi shidvash.
My intention is to share my story so that others can make informed decisions before starting any aesthetic or cosmetic treatments.
Attached are scanned copies of my official invoices, so anyone can compare the prices I was charged for these services.
During my first visit, I openly told Dr. Mehdi Sheidvash that it was my first-ever experience with cosmetic treatments and that I trusted him to decide what should be done.
Even if the prices were AED 200, AED 500, or even AED 1,000 above the market rate, I would not have minded.
But I never imagined a clinic could, or would, charge several times more than the most luxurious clinics worldwide—solely because they realized the patient had no knowledge of standard pricing.
⸻
📌 Prices I Was Charged (per official invoices):
1. Hair Mesotherapy – Only 1 Session
• Invoice: AED 8,000 → “Discount” to AED 2,000 → I paid AED 6,000
• Market Price: Many reputable clinics offer 7 sessions + hair filler for only AED 3,000.
At this rate, 7 sessions here would cost me AED 42,000.
2. Botox Hair Treatment
• Paid: AED 6,000
• Market Price: AED 500 – AED 2,500
3. Jalupro + Botox (Face, Under Eyes & Neck)
• Paid: AED 7,000
• Market Price: AED 2,500 – AED 4,000
4. AQ + Derma + AQ Hair Complex (1 session)
• Paid: AED 2,700
• Market Price: AED 399 – AED 900

📍 What Happened Next:
A few months later, dissatisfied with the approach of this clinic, I visited another aesthetic clinic.
I showed their doctors my invoices from Dr. Mehdi Sheidvash so they would know exactly what treatments I had previously done.
Their reaction was shock and disbelief at the prices.
They offered me the same services, with better quality and a few extra treatments, for around AED 5,000 total.
To be certain, I visited several other clinics—and almost all of them were equally surprised by the prices listed in my invoices.
That’s when I realized Dr. Mehdi Sheidvash had taken full advantage of my lack of knowledge about pricing.
⸻
📞 When I Confronted Dr. Mehdi shidvash :
I politely asked about the price difference.
His exact reply was:
“You should have asked the price first. Now that it’s done, don’t argue.”
No explanation. No apology. No effort to address my dissatisfaction.
From my experience, this shows that patient satisfaction is not a priority at this clinic.
If you check their reviews, you will see that most negative feedback remains unanswered, and responses are mainly to a few positive reviews—which appear to be from acquaintances.
⸻
💬 My Personal Opinion:
The way I was treated does not align with the ethics and values of the medical profession that past generations of doctors have worked hard to uphold.
A doctor who prioritizes maximizing payment over the patient’s best interest, in my opinion, damages public trust in the medical field.
⸻
✅ Advice to Future Patients:
• Always ask for price quotes from multiple reputable clinics before starting any treatment.
• Request a written estimate or draft invoice before agreeing.
• If you feel there is a lack of transparency or your trust is low, reconsider proceeding.
