I had an exceptional experience at the Skin Institute clinic! Everything went smoothly from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. I was truly fascinated by how experienced and professional Dr. Nawar is — she managed to perform several treatments for me within just one hour, with incredible precision and care. They have newest technology and i did Rajuran Salmon DNA that i couldn't find in UAE for long time. The results were amazing, and I had absolutely no downtime. I booked my hydrafacial appointment weeks in advance & it was fully paid. Two days before the appointment, they called to say it was cancelled because the nurse I booked with wasn’t available, even though I never chose a specific nurse. What makes it worse is that my friend had the same time slot, & they cancelled her appointment too for the exact same reason. How can they book two people at the same time with the same nurse? Is the nurse a robot?

Then they offered to reschedule us to another day, which made no sense after this mix-up. I asked for a refund or to keep the original time we booked which is my right since the cancellation was from their side, they kept saying the refund process would “take a long time.” It was obvious they just wanted me to change my mind & not request the refund.

After some time, they called again saying “some slots were actually available” which is completely contradictory.

As for the hydrafacial service itself, it was not worth the price at all. I know the proper steps of a hydrafacial, and many important steps were skipped.

My Honest Experience at Skin Institute Dermatology Centre, Abu Dhabi
This was my first time writing a bad review, but I had a genuinely disappointing experience. My friend and I booked an appointment for a chemical peel after seeing many good reviews. However, during the consultation, the doctor suggested many other treatments instead, which left us confused about what to start with.
When we told the reception we needed time to decide, we were pressured to do something immediately or else we’d be charged a fee. Because of that pressure, we said we will start with a HydraFacial. They then gave us an appointment 3 weeks later. When my friend called asking for an earlier slot, she was told nothing was available but later we found out there were earlier openings.
Two days before our appointment, they suddenly cancelled, saying the doctor was sick this happened just because we paid in advance. After we requested a refund due to all the confusion and poor treatment, suddenly an appointment became available again.
On the HydraFacial day, the experience was just as disappointing. I came straight from work with makeup on, and the aesthetician didn’t properly remove it just a quick cleanse and double cleanse. She used one cream, a machine for a few minutes, did some extraction, applied a serum and a mask, then left me there for over 25 minutes once I finished there was a makeup in my face. If this is what they consider a HydraFacial, I honestly don’t know what to say.
Overall, it was unprofessional, confusing, and far from the service I expected. I don’t recommend it based on my experience Show less »

Your call center agent gave me prices that are so distant from the actual prices. This is a very cheap way of bringing customers into your clinic.

I was given a price by the call center and as soon as I got to the clinic and met the doctor, the prices shared with me were massively different.

That's not the main issue.
I immediately left after sharing my concern about the dishonesty in the prices with the concerned staff, the shock was I was made to pay consultation fee!!!!! I paid a consultation fee simply to know that I was lied to by your staff..!!! I paid the fee as a cost for few minutes which I learned during these minutes that I was lied to.

I logged a complaint at the call center and no one even cared to call me back.

I must be refunded for the dishonesty and lack of professionalism; please review the call and identify what you need to do with your staff. Show less »

I had also told the doctor that I only wanted to do one treatment because of the prices (I’m a student, after all), but that seemed to go completely unheard. Every time I asked the nurse to come remove the amla, I was ignored. I even tried to get the reception’s attention, but they managed to avoid eye contact with remarkable consistency.

If you’d like to feel dismissed, overcharged, and thoroughly disregarded, this clinic will not disappoint.
