My introduction to JC IMP started in May of this year, when my interest in the Colorscience brand was aroused. It immediately struck me that they do not provide testers or are willing to come by for an introduction. The only options are: travel to their head office to see / feel the brand, or purchase products at full price with a later discount on the starting order. Despite approval as a future partner (in their words: strict screening), our planned call to definitively continue the starting order was cancelled today (after more than 2 months of contact). A clinic 5 kilometers away with an exclusivity arrangement is the reason for this stop. When I asked when this exclusivity arrangement ends and we can start purchasing, I got the non-committal answer: "Call us again next year, but thank you for your interest". The request to actively keep me informed when the exclusivity arrangement has ended was bluntly rejected; it is up to me to pursue this information myself. When I asked how we could handle the costs for the testers that I bought at full retail price, I got the answer: we don't do anything with them. For a company that makes a big deal about its exclusivity and strict screening, this state of affairs is strange to say the least. Show less »
