My introduction to JC IMP began in May of this year, when I became interested in the Colorscience brand. I immediately noticed that they don't provide testers or offer in-person visits for introductions. The only options are to travel to their headquarters to see/feel the brand, or purchase products at full price with a later discount on the initial order. Despite being approved as a future partner (in their words: strict screening), our planned call to finalize the initial order was canceled today (after more than two months of contact). A clinic five kilometers away with an exclusivity agreement was the reason for this delay. When I asked when this exclusivity agreement would end and we could start purchasing, I received the noncommittal answer: "Call us again next year, but thank you for your interest." My request to be kept informed when the exclusivity agreement ended was bluntly rejected; it was up to me to pursue this information myself. When I inquired about how we could handle the costs of the testers I purchased at full retail price, I was told: "We don't do anything with them." For a company that boasts about its exclusivity and strict vetting, this is, to say the least, odd. Show less »
